Lord Byron's Lovers

So.
I just stumbled on this community, and... I must say, this is possibly the most amazing thing EVER. (Whyyyyy hasn't it been updated for so long? D=)
Anyway.
I discovered Byron by chance around September of 2007. Maybe. It actually might have been earlier than that, I don't really know. But, I was in my school library, and I was looking for Tennyson. As I was browsing through the books, one caught my eye- it just said BYRON in big, bold, black letters.
I don't know why I picked it up. I really don't. I remember recognizing the name, but why I picked it up, I can't explain.
But- THANK GOD I DID.
I opened it up, read the first poem ("When we two parted, in silence and tears"), and then just stood there, gaping like a moron.
Then I read it again.
And again.
I checked the book out, read it all that night, and the next day I went to the library and checked out a book of his complete poetry (although it's outdated, but it's all I've got right now), and Child of Passion, Fool of Fame by Benita Eisler. I was looking through the biography,  and when I saw his picture, it was just... yeesh. Can you say sexy? xD
It quickly grew into a ridiculously obsessive obsession. I mean, I can't even begin to describe how obsessed I am with him. @.@

And, I recently bought a print of a portrait of him from AllPosters, and it's on my wall so I can starrrrrreeeee!

As for the "we'd all totally be his lovers bit"... well, I gotta agree there. I don't want to do anything before marriage, but... honestly, if Byron came up to me- well, let's just say I wouldn't protest. xD

I agree with your sentiments. Entirely.
ESPECIALLY the part about /GAPE.
because that's what I do when I encounter his poetry or photo.
GAPE.
mmm, I might have to check out that AllPosters poster... do you have a link? XD

I don't think it's possible to read his writing or to look at him without gaping. xD Unless you're my sister... she called him *ugly* =o For shame!

And, this one-

=D It's not, like, gigantic or anything, but it's Byron, it's on my wall, and I can stare at it at night before I go to sleep. =D
